Tucked away between the towering Stelvio and Gavia, Alpine Hotel La Genzianella invited us to bring their summer concept to life. One that blurred the lines between epic cycling, effortless style, and understated luxury.

Over a few Alpine days, our photographer and cyclist Alessandro travelled with his girlfriend and another couple. The setup was simple. The guys took to the climbs, chasing heritage roads and capturing cycling content. While the women became the perfect models for the hotel’s wellness, leisure, and that unmistakable dolce far niente glow.

Together, they stitched a visual narrative where hard efforts met soft landings. Stelvio’s iconic switchbacks. Gavia’s eerie stillness. Mortirolo disappearing into low cloud. Every summit earned. Every descent finishing at a place that felt less like a hotel, more like a warm exhale.

All while La Genzianella became the perfect backdrop. Bib shorts drying beside wool throws. A spa just steps from the bike storage. Couples at dinner tables, lingering over wine and mountain views. Cycling gear woven naturally into the setting. Nothing staged. Everything part of the rhythm.

For brands looking to speak to cyclists with depth, this story became another proof of concept. Because when the story is real, you don’t need a script.
